2020-2021 Dialectic Science Modules
These a la carte classes are offered throughout the year. Ranging from 2 week to 12 weeks in length, our mod courses allow you to customize your school year to fit your schedule and interests. Using Apologia Science as our base, we customize our mods with concepts and projects well-suited to online learning. Science students come to class each week to learn exciting new concepts, then complete lab experiments, projects, and reports at home.
Exploring the Solar System
This God honoring six-week unit study will take dialectic level students on a journey through the Milky Way galaxy and beyond! Subject matter to be investigated will include: inner and outer planets, asteroids, comets, meteoroids, constellations, sun, stars and galaxies. Students will have several hands-on activities to complete and will construct a diorama at the end of the unit. A supply list will become available prior to the first class meeting.
