2024-2025 Important Dates

Enrollment Opens for Current Lucerna Families:     Wednesday, February 21, 2024
General Enrollment Opens:     Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Regular Enrollment* Ends for Fall & Full-Year Courses:     August 1, 2024

* A late registration fee of $25/course will be applied for students enrolling in fall and full-year courses after August 1, 2024. Course withdrawals after August 1, 2024, will not receive a refund. Late registrants (those who register after August 1, 2024) are not eligible for tuition refunds. 

Course Schedules Set:    First week of August, 2024

We notify students and their parents if there is enough enrollment to host their class, and teachers send welcome letters for all courses that we will host.

New Student Online Learning Session:    Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 3-4 pm ET

A quick drop-in session so students new to Lucerna Academy can learn to use our online classroom and learning management software and be sure their equipment works well with our online classrooms.

Orientation Week:    August 19-23, 2024

Orientation for each class will be held on the weekday and time of the regular class.

New Parent Orientation:    Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 4-5 pm ET

Orientation for parents who are new to Lucerna Academy to learn how to monitor grades, communicate with teachers, etc.

Fall and Full-year Classes Begin:    Monday, September 2, 2024

Since Monday, September 2, 2024, is a holiday, Monday classes that week will not meet. However, there will be assignments due that week. Students will get all the details at their orientation.

Thanksgiving Break:    November 25-29, 2024

Christmas Break:    December 23, 2024-January 3, 2025

All 2024-2025 Enrollment Closed:    Friday, January 17, 2025 (as we get ready to open enrollment in February for the 25-26 school year)

Spring Semester Begins:    Monday, January 20, 2025

Registration Opens for Current Families* for the 2025-2026 School Year:    Wednesday, February 19, 2025

Easter Break:    April 14-18, 2025

School Year Ends:    Friday, May 23, 2025

Final Grades Posted:    Monday, June 9, 2025
